Notes
Eastman-Kodak Brownie Camera No. 2C model A, with No. 130 film. Additional information: The Sanborn Fire Insurance maps show this building as a dwelling in 1886 and we know from city directories Ernest Downey lived here in 1909. In 1912 George Frank lived here and operated a grocery store on the ground floor. By 1947 it was called the Star Grocery Store. In 1953 famous big league baseball player, Tommy Thevenow, was retired from the sport and bought the property. There was, while Thevenow owned it, a round baseball shaped sign which read "Stop and Shop with the Short Stop." After Tommy's death in 1957, his son kept the store and ran it until the early 2000's.
